What you'll do

• Operate mammography equipment to produce diagnostic breast images
• explain procedures to patients
• position and immobilize patients
• monitor scans and adjust image density or contrast
• review images for diagnostic quality
• maintain patient records as applicable
• follow physician directions and use radiation protection equipment.
