Learning & Development Specialist

Job overview

The Learning & Development Specialist role is hybrid, with a primary work location at Goodwill of Colorado’s Denver and/or Colorado Springs headquarters and at least three days per week onsite. The position pays $26 per hour. Goodwill of Colorado develops corporate and departmental training for its staff and managers. The specialist designs, facilitates, and evaluates training across classroom, webinar, e-learning, and blended formats. The role supports organizational learning by identifying training needs, administering learning systems, and assessing program effectiveness and improvement opportunities.

What you'll do

• Collaborate on course development and revision
• facilitate classroom and webinar training
• coordinate training logistics
• research learner and training needs with subject matter experts
• create instructional content and assessments
• evaluate program effectiveness and return on investment
• support department-specific training
• administer learning and performance systems
• curate training documentation
• conduct investigations and advise managers on specified HR issues.
