Medical Scribe

Job overview

The Medical Scribe role is onsite in Troy, MO, with compensation of $20–$25 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position works alongside experienced pain physicians on a physician-led team in the St. Louis area.

What you'll do

• Document patient encounters in real time, including histories, examination findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions
• record procedures, prescriptions, orders, lab work, and imaging
• maintain accurate electronic health records
• schedule appointments and contact waitlisted patients when earlier appointments become available
• coordinate follow-up visits
• communicate with physicians, patients, and care team members
• protect confidential information
• assist with other administrative and clinical tasks as needed.
