Job overview

The Diet Aide role is onsite in Utica, NY, with a new-hire rate of $16.25 per hour. The role supports the Dietary Department at Utica Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. The Diet Aide helps prepare and serve meals and snacks to residents while following dietary department procedures and long-term care regulations. The position also supports dining room setup, pantry stocking, and scheduled cleaning.

What you'll do

• Use dietary utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned
• meet meal and snack times
• assist the cook with meal preparation and service
• follow applicable long-term care regulations and department procedures
• clean according to schedules
• set dining rooms
• serve meals
• stock pantry and cupboards
• attend in-service education.
