What you'll do

• Evaluate and diagnose behavioral health disorders
• prescribe and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications
• conduct examinations or diagnostic tests
• advise patients’ guardians, relatives, and significant others about conditions and treatment
• design individualized care plans
• collaborate on treatment plans and progress
• maintain patient records
• counsel outpatient patients during office visits
• serve on committees supporting community behavioral health services
• act as collaborating provider for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners.
