This role supports the Accredited Testing & Evaluation (AT&E) Laboratory. The role exists to perform commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) IT product security tests. By devising test procedures and evaluating product compliance against security standards, the tester ensures that hardware and software products meet necessary security requirements.

What you'll do

• Work with IT product vendors to determine applicability of security standards.
• Interpret security standards to determine compliance of product design.
• Devise, execute, and document security functional testing.
• Conduct product troubleshooting and vulnerability research.
• Produce documentation describing product conformance to security requirements.
• Assist in maintenance of laboratory infrastructure.
