What you'll do

• Perform fluoroscopy, CT, general X-ray, portable imaging, and surgical imaging
• position patients to obtain diagnostic images
• follow ALARA principles and physician instructions
• document each exam in the EMR
• communicate exam details and status to radiologists
• submit studies to after-hours service
• complete exam charges
• provide DICOM images or CDs when requested
• report equipment and department issues
• work toward radiologic competencies and learn new modalities.
