Lead Teacher

Job overview

The Lead Teacher role is onsite in Dallas, TX, with compensation of $18 per hour. The Goddard School uses its Wonder of Learning curriculum to support young children’s development. This role exists to guide children’s learning and well-being through developmentally appropriate instruction, a safe and inclusive classroom, and communication with families. The teacher also collaborates with assistant and resource teachers to support the school’s educational program.

What you'll do

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using the Wonder of Learning curriculum
• maintain a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom
• communicate with families about children’s progress and daily activities
• supervise children and follow health, safety, and licensing requirements
• observe and document learning and development
• participate in professional development
• support assistant and resource teachers
• use positive behavior guidance.
