Certified Nurse Aide

The Certified Nurse Aide role is onsite in Grand Rapids, MI. Pay is $19.40–$25.48 per hour. The aide provides nursing care to residents and coordinates with the department and other departments. The role helps residents maintain or attain their highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being by providing individualized care, following care plans, observing and reporting changes, and protecting residents’ comfort, dignity, and rights. It also supports safe daily operations through documentation, infection-control practices, and communication with residents, families, and staff.

What you'll do

• Provide quality nursing care and individualized attention according to resident care plans
• assist with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting, transfers, ambulation, and other care needs
• maintain resident comfort, privacy, and dignity
• report suspected abuse or rights violations
• observe and report changes in condition or behavior
• support skin integrity
• answer call lights
• perform assigned tasks such as checking vital signs, weighing residents, applying creams, and collecting specimens
• document care
• follow safety and infection-control procedures.

Why this role

Michigan CNA certification is required, or completion of an approved CNA training program with eligibility to test; certification must be obtained within four months of hire.
