Assistant Toddler Teacher

The Assistant Toddler Teacher role is onsite in Charlotte, North Carolina. Pay is $15–$19 per hour. Working with the lead teacher, the assistant supports classroom routines and play-based learning while providing age-appropriate attention. The role helps children develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills and contributes to a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment.

What you'll do

• Support circle time, story time, snacks, outdoor play, and rest time
• assist with lesson planning and curriculum implementation
• supervise children during transitions, group play, and activities
• maintain a safe, clean, organized classroom aligned with state licensing regulations
• encourage independence and social interaction through positive guidance
• observe and document behavior and milestones
• collaborate with teachers and staff.
