The Interim Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) assignment is onsite at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Ordway, CO, for approximately eight weeks. Compensation is $40–$50 per hour, and housing is available at the facility or nearby in Las Animas. The role leads the facility’s dietary operations for interim coverage. The manager oversees food service and dietary care so residents receive meals and therapeutic diets that meet their needs and facility requirements. Responsibilities include supervising dietary staff, managing purchasing and inventory, maintaining sanitation and compliance, and coordinating nutrition documentation and care-plan activities.

What you'll do

• Direct dietary services and preparation of therapeutic diets
• supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate cooks and dietary aides
• step in as cook or aide when staffing shortages require
• maintain sanitation and equipment standards
• purchase supplies within budget and manage inventory
• maintain recipes and work assignments
• develop and review nutrition care-plan components
• attend care-plan meetings and resident interviews
• document counseling and diet records
• support infection control and quality assurance.
