The Associate Staff Scientist will optimize droplet-based and liquid jet delivery techniques to enable high-impact crystallography and spectroscopy research.
What you'll do
- Develop and construct advanced sample delivery systems
- support user activities at the Macromolecular Femtosecond Crystallography instrument
- lead research on droplet delivery techniques
- collaborate with internal and external user groups
- disseminate scientific outcomes.
What we're looking for
- Education
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Experience
- 0-2 years of experience in microfluidics or mechatronics
