Community Manager — Affordable Housing

The Community Manager — Affordable Housing role is onsite in Sonoma, CA, with compensation of $25.62–$28.82 per hour. MidPen Housing works to provide safe, high-quality affordable housing and support thriving communities. The role oversees daily operations at one or more affordable housing properties, leading staff and supporting fiscal responsibility, regulatory compliance, property upkeep, and resident services. It helps maintain stable, well-managed communities in coordination with residents, partners, and the Resident Services team.

What you'll do

• Supervise property staff, provide coaching, and conduct performance reviews
• manage rent collection, deposits, income verification, and delinquent accounts
• maintain compliance with Fair Housing, HUD, TCAC, and local requirements
• oversee inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs
• process applications, recertifications, and lease renewals
• maintain property files and waitlists
• build community partnerships
• implement emergency preparedness and incident reporting
• market available units and coordinate timely turnovers.
