The Diesel Mechanic role is an onsite position based in Bronx, NY, with a pay range of $24.70 to $50.00 per hour. This role exists to perform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on heavy diesel trucks and engines. The mechanic ensures accurate diagnosis and effective repair or replacement of components to support the company's commitment to environmental safety and service quality.

What you'll do

• Perform inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspection (PMI).
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild major components.
• Maintain and repair exhaust systems equipped with DPF systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate and OSHA standards.
• Assist with service calls for breakdowns.
