Mechanical Estimator – HVAC and Plumbing

The Mechanical Estimator – HVAC and Plumbing role is onsite in the Twin Cities, MN area. Compensation is $80,000–$130,000 per year, depending on experience. The role develops accurate, competitive estimates for commercial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical construction projects. Reviewing plans, evaluating costs, coordinating vendor pricing, and identifying scope risks helps the contractor prepare quality bids and manage project demand.

What you'll do

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• prepare detailed estimates
• perform material takeoffs and evaluate labor, equipment, and material costs
• obtain vendor and supplier pricing
• identify scope gaps, risks, and opportunities
• collaborate with project managers and team members
• manage bid volume while maintaining accuracy.
