Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager

What you'll do

• Build detailed heavy civil estimates and bids
• lead estimates using HCSS HeavyBid
• evaluate plans, specifications, quantities, production, crews, equipment, materials, subcontractors, schedules, and risks
• develop bid strategy with the President and Owner
• assess which opportunities to pursue
• build relationships with market partners and identify opportunities
• develop budgets, value-engineering ideas, constructability solutions, and negotiated opportunities
• present proposals and support sales, negotiation, and award
• turn awarded projects over to operations
• compare estimates with actual project performance
• mentor estimating support personnel.
