What you'll do

• Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner.
• Accurately perform sonogram examinations in a timely manner.
• Be responsible for recording and processing ultrasound images.
• Maintain statistical results for quality improvement.
• Maintain proactive and effective communication with radiologists regarding any unusual clinical findings, history, and/or test results.

What we're looking for

Education

A two-year Allied Health degree or successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved program

Experience

A two-year Allied Health degree or successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved program. Valid ARDMS certification required: RVT (Registered Vascular Tech) or ARDMS AB (abdomen specialty) or ARDMS OB/GYN within 1 year. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 1-3 years previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
