The Dock Sortation Lead works onsite in Alexandria, VA, on an early-morning schedule typically from 3:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., seven days per week on a rotation. Compensation is $23–$26 per hour. Saltbox provides warehouse suites, offices, and hands-on logistics support to help eCommerce entrepreneurs scale. The lead owns daily dock sortation, coordinating packages, staff, and driver handoffs to meet service-level and quality targets. By coaching the team, resolving exceptions, and reporting shift results, the role supports reliable fulfillment for Saltbox customers and their businesses.

What you'll do

• Run the end-to-end sortation process, from incoming pallets through scanning, staging, and driver dispatch
• work hands-on on the floor as volume or staffing requires
• manage 2–7 Dock Sortation Specialists
• coach throughput and Sort App use
• ensure team members are trained and certified before handling packages
• monitor site performance against delivery, loss, sort-completion, and dispatch targets
• verify driver identity and batch assignments
• handle damaged packages and promptly escalate missing packages
• respond to partner communications within 30 minutes during operational hours
• submit complete daily operations reports
• maintain camera coverage and corporate device discipline.
