What you'll do

• Perform initial clinical evaluations and take vital signs
• assist with emergency-care procedures as directed by an RN
• perform point-of-care and waived testing and lab controls as needed
• complete daily lab and equipment checks
• make follow-up calls as assigned by the RN
• assist with patient check-in and transfers
• document care accurately and maintain confidentiality
• stock examination rooms and help maintain a clean, safe facility
• perform clinical duties when trained.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS and ACLS certification, and relevant emergency or urgent-care experience. EMTs and paramedics must have at least two years of ambulance experience or one year of emergency-department experience; current state licensure is required for EMT or paramedic applicants. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
