What you'll do

• Verify prescription sources and clarify orders with physicians
• provide clinical advice
• verify medication, patient, route, dosage, strength, and directions
• dispense prescriptions and provide patient-specific consultation
• obtain insurance authorizations and manage denials
• complete quality control and drug utilization reviews
• maintain records and document interventions
• report adverse events
• supervise pharmacy staff and dispensing processes
• enforce applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
