The Assistant General Manager role is onsite in Sterling, VA. Pay is $23.50 per hour. The role supports CAVA’s restaurant operations and its mission to make it simple to eat well and feel good. Partnering with the General Manager and Area Leader, the Assistant General Manager helps deliver strong guest service and restaurant performance. The role supports daily operations, team development, staffing, inventory, food safety, and financial controls while helping implement store action plans.

What you'll do

• Assist with daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing
• uphold food quality, service, and cleanliness standards
• oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control
• train, coach, and provide feedback to team members
• support scheduling and staffing
• address team member concerns
• respond to guest concerns
• support sales tracking, cash handling, budgets, financial reports, and records
• assist with food safety training and operational records
• support action plans and special projects.
