What you'll do
- Compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
- Start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
- Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
- Release customer with proper post procedure instructions.
- Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
What we're looking for
- Education
- Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology
- Experience
- Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology. Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date. Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date. BCLS required within 30 days of start date. Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
