The Senior Hydrogeochemist role is onsite in Grand Junction, CO. The hiring range is $120,000–$150,000 per year. The position leads groundwater and environmental projects for RSI, which provides environmental, nuclear, construction management, project delivery, and specialty professional services. The role exists to characterize groundwater and contaminants, develop conceptual site models, and evaluate remediation and compliance strategies. It combines technical analysis and modeling with project leadership, client coordination, and staff mentoring to support environmental project delivery.

What you'll do

• Lead multidisciplinary groundwater and environmental projects and serve as a client point of contact
• scope projects and develop budgets, schedules, and staffing plans
• acquire, organize, and analyze environmental field data
• conduct hydrogeological and geochemical evaluations, modeling, and statistical analyses
• develop conceptual site models and numerical flow and transport models
• support remedial design and performance evaluation
• prepare project documents and presentations
• mentor staff and interface with stakeholders. Travel is required 10% of the time.
