The pharmacist reviews prescriptions, dispenses medications accurately, and maintains efficient pharmacy workflow. The role also supports medication safety through prescription checks, drug utilization review, controlled-substance records, immunizations, and clinical responses to drug-related questions.

What you'll do

• Review and interpret prescriptions
• fill and dispense medications accurately
• approve prescriptions prepared by pharmacy technicians and perform final checks
• conduct drug utilization reviews and review clinical edits for adverse reactions
• reconcile controlled-substance logs with inventory and dispensed prescriptions
• answer drug-related questions
• administer and document immunizations and medications
• maintain inventory and records.
