In-Home Caregiver

Job overview

The In-Home Caregiver role is onsite in clients’ homes in Northern Virginia, with compensation of $16–$20 per hour. Decena Home Care provides personalized services intended to help clients live independently and with dignity in their homes. The caregiver supports clients with homemaking, personal care, companionship, travel assistance, and overnight or palliative care tasks as assigned. These services help clients with daily routines, safety, and comfort while supporting their independence.

What you'll do

• Assist with grocery shopping, errands, light housekeeping, cooking, meal preparation, laundry, and ironing
• provide medication reminders and assistance with bathing, oral hygiene, toileting, dressing, and grooming
• offer companionship and safety supervision
• drive and assist clients during trips
• provide routine support during overnight care
• provide pain and symptom management and emotional support as part of palliative care.

Why this role

The posting requires at least two years of caregiving or related experience, a valid driver’s license, CPR and First Aid certification, and CNA, PCA, or HHA certification. Employment visa sponsorship is not available.
