Wire EDM Field Installation Technician

Job overview

The Wire EDM Field Installation Technician role is based in Concord, NC, with extensive travel to customer sites throughout North America. Pay is $23.63–$25 per hour. MC Machinery Systems installs machinery and supports customers in the machining industry. The technician installs equipment, verifies operation, resolves machine problems, and trains customers to improve equipment use. The role supports customer confidence and successful machine operation through independent troubleshooting, documentation, and service reporting.

What you'll do

• Install equipment and verify machine operation against manufacturer specifications
• diagnose and resolve machine problems at customer sites or by phone
• exercise independent judgment in evaluating customer issues
• train customers and, at times, other employees on machine performance and use
• document and communicate problems and solutions
• prepare service reports and supporting documentation.
