The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Baltimore, MD, at Morgan State University’s Thurgood Marshall Hall, Legacy Hall, and Harper Tubman House. Pay is $25–$27 per hour. Capstone on Campus Management supports facilities operations at the university. The technician completes work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to support daily residential facilities operations. The role coordinates with maintenance staff and the Assistant Director of Facilities and participates in an after-hours on-call rotation for emergencies.

What you'll do

• Respond to maintenance requests and service calls
• identify facility deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
• participate in after-hours on-call rotation
• work mandatory overtime as needed
• support peak move-in and move-out periods
• escort contractors and vendors
• assist with room setups and furniture movement
• inspect and repair vacated residential units
• conduct daily building inspections
• complete preventive maintenance
• request needed materials and supplies
• communicate work progress and priorities.
