What you'll do

• Respond to fires, alarms, gas leaks, medical emergencies, hazardous-material incidents, rescue calls, and other emergencies
• extinguish fires
• rescue people and animals and perform vehicle extrication
• provide first aid, CPR, and emergency medical care
• operate and maintain firefighting apparatus and equipment
• complete reports
• participate in training, drills, fire prevention, inspections, and public safety education.
