What you'll do

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals.
• Perform these procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner.
• Prioritize patient care.
• Use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans.
• Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians' orders.
• May administer and record dosages.
• Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic film.
• Position patients and adjust immobilization devices.
• Compassionately explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
• Monitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized documentation.
• May assist with transporting patients.

What we're looking for

Education

Vocational/Technical Schooling; Associate Degree Graduate of an accredited and AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program

Experience

Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience as a Nuclear Med Technologist
