What you'll do

• Assess, receive, accession, process, and test specimens
• perform patient identification and labeling
• evaluate orders and specimen acceptability
• conduct routine automated and non-automated testing
• recognize and report normal, abnormal, and critical results
• troubleshoot laboratory systems and instruments
• perform and document quality control and maintenance
• maintain supplies and reagents
• support validation activities
• assist with staff orientation and training.
