The Social Worker role is onsite in North Port, FL, with pay of $30 per hour. The position is part-time and reports to the Director of Behavioral Health. Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties focuses on making a positive impact on young people in the community. The role provides therapeutic and behavioral support to children and families, helping promote success in Club, school, home, and community settings. Through counseling, groups, case management, crisis intervention, and collaboration with Club and public partners, the social worker connects families with appropriate care and resources.

What you'll do

• Provide therapeutic and behavioral support for children and families
• provide individual counseling and facilitate psycho-educational groups
• provide case management, consultation, crisis intervention, grief support, and community resources when needed
• collaborate with Club employees, school district employees, and other public entities to connect families with care.
