The Construction Project Manager role is onsite at the LIHI Main Office in Seattle, WA, with Monday–Friday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pay is $90,000–$110,000 annually. The Low Income Housing Institute develops Tiny House Villages and housing and shelter programs. The role manages Tiny House Village development and other capital improvement projects from site feasibility through construction and occupancy. It contributes to LIHI’s project delivery by coordinating teams and stakeholders, managing schedules and budgets, overseeing construction quality and safety, and guiding projects through permitting, closeout, and turnover.

What you'll do

  • Lead Tiny House Village development from site feasibility through design, permitting, and construction readiness
  • conduct site due diligence
  • coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, municipal partners, utilities, and agencies
  • identify and address project risks
  • supervise construction team members and contractors
  • manage construction activities, schedules, quality, inspections, and closeout
  • maintain project records and milestones across multiple projects
  • coordinate volunteer participation and site-safety policies
  • develop and track budgets
  • solicit and evaluate bids
  • review invoices and change orders
  • represent LIHI in stakeholder meetings and communicate project status.
