Compensation is $36–$55 per hour. The Registered Nurse (RN) — Operating Room role is onsite in Waukegan, Illinois (IL). The role supports Vista Medical Center’s surgical team in providing patient care before, during, and after procedures. The operating room nurse prepares patients, maintains a sterile and safe surgical environment, provides intraoperative care, collaborates with surgeons and other clinicians, and supports recovery and documentation. The role contributes to safe surgical care and patient outcomes in a fast-paced team setting.

What you'll do

• Prepare patients for surgery, including preoperative assessments and education
• maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment
• provide intraoperative nursing care, monitor patients, assist surgeons, and manage instruments
• collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
• perform post-anesthesia care and assist with recovery as needed
• document patient care and procedures
• respond to surgical emergencies.
