Group Leader, Auburn School Age Program

The Group Leader position is onsite at Auburn Village Elementary School in Auburn, NH, and is part-time. Pay is $14–$16 per hour. New Morning Schools provides before- and after-school childcare to families in Southern New Hampshire. The group leader helps children have a safe, supportive start or end to their school day by planning activities, guiding positive behavior, and maintaining communication with families and staff. The role contributes to consistent care and children’s daily experience.

What you'll do

• Plan daily activities using the provided curriculum book, including group activities, child-directed activities, and gross motor games
• help maintain a safe environment
• encourage positive behavior
• greet parents and children
• help train new staff as needed
• attend monthly staff meetings
• follow staff assignments
• communicate with the office
• substitute at another location if needed.
