Insurance New Business Specialist

The Insurance New Business Specialist role is hybrid in Saint Paul, MN, with up to two work-from-home days per week under policy. Compensation is $55,000–$65,000 per year in total compensation, based on base salary plus bonus. The role supports Valmark’s new business team and its Member Offices and clients. The specialist manages life insurance cases from application through payment, coordinating with carrier partners and Member Offices to resolve issues and support timely processing. The role advocates for clients and offices while helping achieve favorable underwriting and new business outcomes.

What you'll do

• Manage an average of 80–100 pending life insurance cases from submission through payment
• review applications, order medical requirements, provide status updates, resolve issues, complete quality reviews, and liaise between Member Offices and carriers
• build partner relationships
• promote new business initiatives
• support team projects and negotiate solutions to case challenges.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED required. Obtain a Life Insurance Producer's License within three months of hire; within one year, hold or actively work toward an FLMI, ALMI, ACS, Series 6, 26, or 63 designation or license.
