AI/ML Platform Architect

The AI/ML Platform Architect role is 100% onsite in Boulder, CO. Compensation is $150,000–$175,000 per year. The role supports a specialized aerospace technology company working on space domain awareness, satellite operations, and civil, commercial, and government space applications. The architect establishes the company’s AI/ML platform and MLOps foundations, from data pipelines and model training to production deployment and monitoring. The role works with software, data engineering, and mission operations teams to bring advanced analytics and automation into operational satellite systems.

What you'll do

• Lead design and governance of the enterprise AI/ML platform
• build MLOps solutions for data processing, model training, deployment, and inference
• deliver proofs of concept and platform modernization
• develop intelligent automation and predictive telemetry analysis
• collaborate with software, data engineering, and mission operations teams
• establish metrics, observability, continuous delivery, lifecycle tracking, and automated model recovery.
