What you'll do

• Supervise Direct Support Professionals
• Oversee day-to-day program operations including support delivery, person-centered plan implementation, healthcare, advocacy, customer engagement, and regulatory compliance
• Provide direct support as a direct support professional
• Document as required and review individual records
• Assist in program plan development and monitor implementation
• Attend and assist with routine progress meetings
• Assist in maintaining licensing compliance
• Manage individuals' assets and complete incident reports
• Compile or accumulate census or attendance information for billing
• Monitor health of individuals, document, communicate with medical professionals, and implement preventive strategies
• Schedule or assist in scheduling healthcare appointments and accompany individuals
• Administer or support medication administration and document delivery
• Purchase and maintain medical supplies and equipment
• Develop menus and oversee food service
• Maintain productive relations with individuals, families, case managers, and stakeholders
• Implement customer service standards
• Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and hiring
• Populate and maintain employee schedules
• Assist with onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training
• Prepare and conduct annual evaluations
• Coach employees, correct behavior, and recommend termination
• Ensure employee safety and manage workers' compensation
• Lead monthly program meetings
• Purchase food and household supplies
• Secure and safeguard individuals' funds
• Review census/attendance for accurate billing
• Monitor staffing hours for budgetary compliance
• Capture daily census within systems
• Support location preparations for placements
• Test drive vehicles monthly, inspect lifts and seatbelts, report safety concerns, and train staff in safe vehicle operation
• Schedule and monitor housekeeping, oversee yard care, and maintain a safe living environment
• Make or arrange for minor repairs and report to maintenance
• Monitor wheelchairs, lifts, and other safety equipment.
