What you'll do

• Represent Purchasing in program and customer reviews
• plan purchasing activities, critical parts, milestones, and lead times
• report project status and implement corrective actions
• track purchasing risks and mitigation
• prepare purchasing specifications and targets
• monitor supplier development, long-lead items, missing parts, milestones, costs, and purchase orders
• coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to support on-time delivery.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or engineering, eight years of purchasing, materials management, supply chain, or related experience, and six years in a customer-facing role. Aircraft seat knowledge, SAP, Six Sigma, and PMP certification are preferred.
