Traveling Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Job overview

The Traveling Commercial HVAC Service Technician role is field-based, based in Cedar Rapids, IA, and travels nationwide to data center projects and regional commercial clients. Pay is $30–$60 per hour, plus travel stipends. The Air National Services team services mission-critical data centers and commercial HVAC systems.

What you'll do

• Start up, commission, diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and optimize commercial HVAC systems
• perform preventive maintenance
• communicate with customers and coordinate with internal teams
• complete service reports and work orders
• follow safety and regulatory requirements
• participate in the on-call rotation
• travel nationwide
• and provide occasional mentoring to junior technicians.
