What you'll do

• Lead estimating and preconstruction for multifamily projects
• review plans, specifications, and bid documents and validate quantity takeoffs
• develop estimates for wood-framing labor and related scopes
• coordinate material estimates
• build labor budgets
• prepare proposals, scope breakdowns, qualifications, exclusions, alternates, and clarifications
• identify value-engineering opportunities, scope gaps, and contractual or scheduling risks
• work with general contractors and developers on bids and negotiations
• review subcontract and contract documents
• lead project handoffs to operations
• support buyout, change-order pricing, and estimating questions.
