The Refrigeration Start-up Technician - Commercial & Industrial is an onsite role based in Miami, FL. Compensation is $35-$50/hour, and this position supports the CoolSys team in delivering high-quality refrigeration and HVAC solutions to commercial clients. This role exists to ensure the accurate and timely start-up of supermarket refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment. The technician serves as a subject matter expert, performing complex diagnostics, programming energy management systems, and leading small installation projects to maintain system performance and efficiency.

What you'll do

• Perform evacuations of parallel racks
• execute EMS wiring and programming
• conduct full start-up of new refrigeration systems
• lead small projects like case and condenser changeouts
• assist with Energy Optimization projects
• provide technical support and training to junior staff.
