The Janitor — Floor Scrubber role is onsite in Grand Rapids, MI, Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Compensation is $18.50–$19.00 per hour. Pridgeon & Clay manufactures automotive stamped and fine-blanked components and seeks to keep its plant, offices, and grounds clean and presentable. The janitor maintains facility cleanliness using floor-care equipment and other tools, supporting a safe and orderly environment for employees and customers. The role also follows company quality and safety policies while maintaining assigned areas and equipment.

What you'll do

• Clean office floors, windows, and walls, including dusting, buffing, stripping, and waxing
• clean and restock restrooms
• empty trash and recycling
• maintain facility floors, carpets, sidewalks, wash bays, and truck wells
• operate floor scrubbers, sweepers, lifts, and other assigned equipment
• follow safety and company procedures.

Why this role

Requires three months of industrial janitorial experience, high-speed burnishing and walk-behind scrubber experience, and a P&C hilo license or ability to pass tests to obtain one.
