Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry role is onsite in Oro Valley, AZ, for a 13-week assignment; the posting requires the nurse to reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Pay is $1,750–$1,850 per week. The nurse supports medical-surgical and telemetry patient care and may float to the progressive care unit or low-acuity intensive care unit. The role contributes to safe care through clinical judgment, planning, delegation, and direction and supervision of assigned personnel.

What you'll do

• Provide patient care using the nursing process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures
• use critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to anticipate and plan safe care
• maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• delegate care priorities based on staff education and experience
• direct and supervise assigned personnel. Floating to PCU or low-acuity ICU may be required.
