Household Packer

The Household Packer role is onsite in Towson, MD. Pay is $18 per hour. The position supports Abilities Network’s Senior Services Move Management Team, helping seniors through downsizing with caring and courteous service. The packer assists clients with household moves by packing and unpacking personal belongings, using care and judgment to sort and protect items, and checking that packing specifications are met. The role also provides personal assistance and emotional support as needed.

What you'll do

• Pack and unpack household goods and personal belongings by hand
• wrap, stack, sort, and pack items into appropriate containers
• inspect containers and materials to ensure packing specifications are met
• provide personal assistance and emotional support as needed
• complete assigned moves, typically lasting two to three days.
