Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Consultant

The Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Consultant role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA; compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Review assigned medical records for complete and accurate documentation of diagnoses and procedures
• initiate and complete queries as needed
• follow ACDIS, AAPC, and AHIMA guidelines
• maintain patient confidentiality under HIPAA
• apply knowledge of DRG payer issues, audit risks, documentation opportunities, quality metrics, and hierarchical condition categories
• collaborate with clients, coworkers, and management
• use client-specific software.

Why this role
