Interior Design Assistant

Job overview

The Interior Design Assistant role is onsite in The Woodlands, Texas; remote work is not offered. Compensation is $35,000 or more per year. The role supports Monarch & Maker's hospitality, commercial, and luxury residential design projects. The assistant helps develop and document design selections, prepares AutoCAD drawings and client materials, gathers pricing and lead times, and organizes final selections for project ordering and installation. The role contributes to moving client projects from design decisions toward coordinated purchasing and installation.

What you'll do

• Assist with design selections within budget
• order samples and organize the design library
• prepare client-facing selection documents
• draft floor plans, elevations, tile, and cabinetry drawings in AutoCAD
• gather pricing and lead times
• prepare final-selection schedules for the Project Manager
• prepare and revise quotes and estimates
• track project hours and assist with installations as needed.

Why this role
