The Speed Camera Administrator role is onsite in Oxon Hill, MD, with compensation of $26.75 per hour. The position administers the Town’s speed camera enforcement program and coordinates with police personnel, the Town Administrator, Treasurer, vendors, courts, and other agencies. The role supports accurate, lawful citation processing, responsive public communication, complete records, and reliable financial and statutory reporting. It maintains independent review of contested citations while monitoring contractor performance and program compliance.

What you'll do

• Oversee contractor performance, deliverables, invoices, and compliance
• coordinate citation workflows and documentation with authorized personnel
• maintain program records and training and calibration documentation
• track public questions and review requests
• coordinate hearing and court records
• reconcile citations, payments, refunds, charges, and revenue
• prepare management summaries and annual data submissions
• identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective action.

Why this role
