The Certified Veterinary Technician – Internal Medicine - Sign on bonus! is an onsite role based in Deep River, CT. Compensation is $26.50–$32.00/hour, and this role supports the Internal Medicine team at Pieper Veterinary in Middletown, CT, a VECCS Level I facility dedicated to making the community and its animals happier and healthier. This role exists to provide exceptional care and support for pets with complex medical needs. The technician works closely with experienced veterinarians to perform advanced procedures, helping to improve patient quality of life while delivering compassionate guidance to families.

What you'll do

• Perform advanced Internal Medicine procedures including endoscopy, anesthesia, and anesthetic monitoring.
• Execute medical calculations and administer various drug protocols.
• Assist with scheduling, receiving, and treating patients.
• Maintain knowledge of sterilization techniques and veterinary equipment.
• Provide tableside assistance during procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient care.
