The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) — Hospice Outpatient role is an onsite, patient-visiting position in Wilmington, NC, with care provided in patients’ homes and residential or skilled nursing facilities. What you'll do

• Provide bathing, peri-care, dressing, mouth care, toileting, incontinence care, repositioning, and meal assistance
• tidy the immediate patient area and change bed linens
• document care on a company-provided cellphone
• maintain vehicle supplies and collect supplies from the branch office
• communicate patient status changes and concerns to RN case managers
• coordinate visit times
• train caregivers in personal care within scope of practice.

Why this role

Typical schedule after orientation is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. No prior experience is required; two years of hospice, home health, or oncology experience is preferred. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA course completion, and current North Carolina or South Carolina certification or registration.
