Senior Process Engineer – Electroless Copper

The engineer develops, qualifies, controls, and improves deposition processes to achieve uniform metallization, adhesion, fewer defects, and stable production. The role also supports manufacturing ramp, equipment qualification, process documentation, chemical safety, and collaboration with wet chemistry, analytical, equipment engineering, and maintenance teams.

What you'll do

• Develop and optimize electroless copper deposition for glass substrates, TGV metallization, seed layers, and panel-level packaging
• define and control process parameters
• improve uniformity, adhesion, defect reduction, and stability
• lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for plating defects
• execute process qualification, DOE, and recipe optimization
• work with wet chemistry and analytical teams on bath stability and contamination control
• maintain SOPs, specifications, OCAPs, bath control plans, and documentation
• support pilot-line and high-volume manufacturing ramp
• ensure EHS and chemical safety compliance
• qualify equipment and collaborate on tool capability, chemical delivery, filtration, reliability, preventive maintenance, and equipment health monitoring.
